We note by the Spencer paper the passing of a former Fostoria teacher and friend, Mrs. Ellen Rider, of Richmond, Calif. Mrs. Rider passed away Oct. 18 at a hospital in Berkeley, where she had been a patient for several weeks. Mrs. Gladys Schneider, Mrs. Verna Vineyard and Judson Rider and family, who all survive their mother, all live near Richmond, and internment will be there. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Drucilla Rider of Spencer and Mrs. Allie Lowe of Los Angeles.
