Harry Hayler Harvey was the son of Alfred & Elizabeth (George) Harvey, and his professional occupation was that of an attorney. He was the second husband of Alice M. (Sickels) Harvey (1881 - 1963), and they resided in Kansas City, Missouri.

Originally from Michigan, Alice M. Sickels is our relation to Mr. Harvey. She was the daughter of John Whitney & Stella Madora (Sheldon) Sickels who first resided together in Elsie, Clinton County, Michigan. They later resided in Kansas City, Missouri, for a few years where, after Alice's first husband Arthur Pratt passed away in 1911, she met and married Mr. Harvey on October 8, 1914. Toghether until his passing, they did not have any children. Alice's parents returned to Michigan in the early 1920's, where JW passed away in Grand Ledge, Eaton County. Records show that Stella M. (Sheldon) Sickels then moved back to Kansas City, Jefferson County, MO, where she resided with her daughter Alice and son-in-law Harry Hayler Harvey.

According to the Social Security Death Index, Alice Harvey passed away in September 1963 while residing in Maryland. This indicates that she may have lived near or with her sibling Claud Hugh Sickels, and his daughters Margaret "Bobbie" Velebny and Dorothea "Dot" Grasso in Bethesda.
