Mrs. Mabel Lincoln

On Tuesday of last week, Mrs. Mabel Lincoln passed away at the Keene Valley Hospital.

Her funeral was held from the Jay Baptist Church on Thursday afternoon.

Her burial was in the Jay Cemetery beside her husband and son Ralph, who was killed in action in World War II.

Mrs. Lincoln, had very recently returned to Jay from her son-in-law and daughter's, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Tredo, when Mr. Tredo returned from his position in Rome, N. Y. Mrs. Lincoln had been residing there with them for several years.

She leaves three daughters and two sons to mourn her loss. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Herman Nye of Upper Jay.
