Christopher Ray Cook, son of Jerry Allen Cook and Evelyn Lorena (Morris) Cook, was born March 24, 1963 in Wichita, KS. He passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 in his home in Springfield, MO at the age of 48 years, seven months and 11 days.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Cook on December 10, 2008; and a uncle William R. Morris on November 8, 2010

Survivors include his mother, Evelyn Cook, Fair Grove; one brother and his wife, Michael and Marilyn Cook, Fair Grove; a niece, Marlana Cook, Springfield, MO; a nephew, James-Michael Cook, Fair Grove; a uncle Ray Dean Morris, Wichita, KS; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the Fraker Funeral Home, Marshfield. Interment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Fair Grove.

The family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the American Red Cross or A.P.O in care of the funeral home.
