Mrs. Adams, the widow of W.A. "Jake" Adams, was a second-generation native of Sanford. Her fore bearers were Robert and Ada Newman and W.J. and Alice Hill. Her Grandfather, W.J. Hill, who emigrated from London in 1872, was the oldest living Sanford resident in 1922 when the city was incorporated. She is survived by her daughters, Anne A. Wallace and Ada O'neil; her grandchildren, Elizabeth O. Gritter, George B. Wallace, Lucia Wallace Koch and Al Wallace III; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Olyve was a member of the St. Peters Episcopal Church, Lake Mary, FL and formerly of Holy Cross Episcopal Church in Sanford. She was also a member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood chapter Y. In addition to her weekly bridge games her home was a weekly meeting place for her friends prayer group for over twenty years. She attended local schools, Florida State College for Women, (aka F.S.U) where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority. She also attended the Martha Washington School for Women in Washington D.C.
