Eddie Lee Sterling, 58 of 306 S. Belknap, died Monday at 6:45 p.m. in Christoffer and Edgar hospital following a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Riddle Funeral home chapel. Burial is to be in the Wortham cemetery.
Sterling had lived in Freestone and Limestone counties all his life. A presbyterian, he was a native of Wortham. He had been an invalid for the past several years.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. A.L. Roundtree of Mexia, Mrs Macon Pipkin of Mexia and Mrs. Dororthy Sterling, Cisco; three sisters, Mrs. Ella Brown, Mexia; Mrs Jewell Bridges, Dallas and Mrs Katy Bumfall, Hondo; five brothers, Minuard and Roy Sterling both of Wortham, Guy Sterling, Dallas; Lacy Sterling, Austin and Allen Sterling of Houston and fifteen grand children.
