Harold F. "Mac" McBride, 90, died at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Alton Memorial Hospital.
Born February 5, 1921, in Alton, he was the son of Alex J. and Eva M. (Miller) McBride.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He retired from the U.S. Post Office as a mail carrier.
Surviving is his wife, Janet (Rust) McBride of Alton; and a daughter, Dawn Woodrum of St. Louis.
