He listed his occupatain as "Hardware seller" (attached enlistment papers) Born in New Westmister BC he came home after his war service and never left. He worked for the City of New Westminster and served as an Air Raid Warden during WWII. He died there on May 18th 1966 at age 66 and was buried in the Frazer View Cemetery in his home town of New Westminster BC.
