Dr. Shuler, Methodist minister, was stricken while delivering his sermon Sunday morning in St. Paul's Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Edith Dudley Shuler, a daughter, Miss Nona Dudley Shuler, both of Orangeburg; two sisters, Mrs. J.A. Nexsin, and Mrs. Henry Ayers, both of Kingstree; two brothers, M.A. Shuler of Kingstree and Grady Shuler of Bowman. Mrs. Shuler is a sister of Mrs. Ben Fulton of Florence.
