Mary Elizabeth Ring Clay,
98, of 495 Mt. View Dr., died at 7:30 AM Monday August 1, 2011 at her home.
A native of Bath County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Morgan and Anna Sargent Ring. She was a retired employee of the Bluegrass Army Depot and was a member of the Calvary Christian Church, Clintonville Rd., Paris.
Survivors include three daughters, Anna Louise Kilby of Waynesburg, KY, Dorothy Morgan of New Mexico and Janice C. Redmon of Paris; one son, Douglas Clay of Stanford, KY; eighteen grandchildren; twenty seven great grandchildren; eight great great grandchildren; one brother, Frank Ring of Dayton, OH and several nieces, nephews and cousins; also her beloved dog, Morry "Bright Eyes".
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Morgan Franklin Clay and James Donald Clay; one daughter, Linda Clay Curtis; two grandchildren, Dennis J. Morgan and Randall Clay and one sister, Ruby Foster Warner.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Friday August 5, 2011 at the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home, 1120 Main St. by the Bro. Brian Barrett. Burial will be in the Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Jim Clay, Larry Clay, Gene Jolly, Paul Redmon, Barry Drury and Todd Stephens.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Hospice of the Bluegrass or to the Calvary Christian Church, 610 Clintonville Rd., Paris, KY 40361.
