A funeral service for Mildred Lucille Barnes of Los Angeles, formerly of Ferndale, will be held at 11 am Thurs in the chapel at Greenacres Funeral Home in Ferndale, with the Rev. Ralph Poulson officiating. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery in Ferndale.
Mrs. Barnes died Sat Dec 18, 1999, in Los Angeles. She was 82. She was born Dec 3, 1917, to Joseph H. and Hazel (Osborne) Brill in New Mexico. She married Guy O. Barnes, who died in 1990.
Mrs. Barnes worked as a legal secretary. Mrs. Barnes was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Ferndale. Survivors include son Jerry W. Anderson of California.
