WAUNAKEE — Gerald J. Raemisch,age 69, passed away at a Madison hospital on November 5, 1977. He was born on January 28, 1908 in Waunakee, and was a lifetime resident of this vicinity. Mr. Raemisch was President of F.C. Raemisch & Son, Inc. Road Construction of Waunakee, having been In business for the last 50 years. He served on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Road Builders Association for two, terms, and was Vice President of the First Wisconsin Bank of Waunakee. He also served for many years on the Waunakee School Board, and the Village ' Board of Waunakee. Mr. Raemisch was a member of St. John's Catholic Church of Waunakee. He and Catherine Kalscheur of Cross Plains were married on September 26, 1934.
Survivors Include his wife, Catherine; a daughter, Mrs. Bruce (Sandy) Kaufmann of Madison; two sons, Thomas and Gerald, both of Madison; 10 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Louise) Schoepp, Miss Helenda Raemisch and Mrs. George(Hazel) Roudebush, all of Waunakee, and Mrs. Donald (Laretta) Wlttenburg of Middleton. Funeral services will beheld on Tuesday, November 8, at 10:30a.m. at THE SCHWAB FUNERALHOME, and at 11 a.m. at ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Waunakee. Reverend Elmer Dletzel will officiate.Burial will be In the church cemetery. Friends may call on Monday, from 3-9p.m. at the funeral home wnare me scripture service will be held at 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research.
