Lifelong Seminole OK resident Gary Eugene "Dawg" Williams passed away on July 29, 2011, in Seminole at the age of 52. He was born on July 24, 1959, in Sasakwa OK to Glenn Allen and Shirley (Ailshie) Williams. Gary graduated from Wewoka High School and worked for Joe Mills Well Service as a rig worker and painter. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors; he also loved music, paint and body work, and working on tank batteries in the oilfield and was a butcher. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Gary married Joy Lea (Green) Williamson
July 4, 2008, in Eureka Springs AR, and she survives him. He is also survived by his daughter Tisha Abbe of Lawton OK; son Dakota Darr of Wewoka OK; brother and sister-in-law Wesley and Kristi Williams of Wewoka; and sister and brother-in-law Glennda and Mike Belcher of Wewoka; grandchildren Randy, Addison, Tyler, Abbe, Logan, Baylea, McKenna, Ryan, Caleb, Madison, and Legand; and numerous aunts, uncles, other family, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandmothers Mocker Ailshie and Jewel Bradley, and nephew Dustin Williams.
