Rodrigo grew up in the Meadows and went to Meadows Elementary school along with his brothers Diego, Mario and sister Christina. He spent his 6th, 7th and 8th grade years at Sugar Land Junior High. At Dulles High School, he was one of the most popular guys. He was kind, had a great smile and was a friend to everyone he met!! Friends remember he "loved the ladies", was a true flirt, and was also very funny. He loved a good party and had a great laugh. His Freshman and Sophomore years at Dulles, he played trumpet in the Norseman Band and was in Student Council. During his Junior year he made the Viking Band, was a photographer for the yearbook and involved in the Fellowship of Christian Musicians along with his best friend Todd Lindsley. His Senior year at Dulles he was on the Yearbook staff, Student Council, was in Viking band as well as being an band officer, and he participated in the Chili Cookoff. He had several girlfriends in high school including Dena Harrelson Perry. He graduated in the class of 1984. Sadly, in 1988 at the age of 21, he was killed in a skiing accident.
