Sharon K. Adams, 54, of El Monte, Calif., formerly of Gilman IL., died Friday (Aug. 7, 1998).
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. today at the Forest Lawn Mortuary, Covina, Calif.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Church of our Heritage, Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Covina.
Sharon was born Oct. 21, 1943, in Watseka, the daughter of Gilbert and Mary Schreiber.
Surviving are her husband, Barry F. Adams of El Monte, Calif.; six daughters, Jody Hughes of Altoona, Ala., Diana Nelson of Pomona, Calif., and Tammy Goddard of Arcadia, Calif. Maryanne Adams of West Covina, Calif. Sharon Barbato, Pomona Ca. Sandra Adams of Riverside,; two sons, Dewaine Nelson and Barry Adams, both of El Monte, Calif.; two sisters, Janice Clark of Gilman Il. and Mary Jane Fregeau Of Kankakee IL ; two brothers, David, Kankakee and James Schreiber Gilman Il.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Sharon attended Gilman High School, Gilman Il.
She was an aircraft electrician employee for Lockheed Martin's ''skunk works,'' which specialized in working on top secret airplanes and their engines.
