Ethel Janice Spears, age 77 of Pikeville, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Parkview Nursing Home, Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born August 17, 1943 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Elzie & Angie Manuel Bays. She was the wife of the late Elict Spears. She is survived by her Sons: James Spears of Prestonsburg, Kentucky & Irvin Spears of Richmond, Kentucky; Daughter: Tracie Horton of Hager Hill, Kentucky; Brothers & Sisters: Ken Bays of Ohio, Ricky Bays of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Freida Calton of North Carolina & Bonnie Mulkey of Banner, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Madison York, Casey Collins, Austin Spears & Amanda Spears; Great Grandchildren: Lindsey York, Alexis Collins, Ashleigh Collins & Georgia York. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her Brothers & Sisters: Vernon Bays, Don Bays, Gary Bays, Douglas Bays, Sarah Jane Shaheen, Juanita Spradlin & Phyllis Wyatt. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will begin Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 6pm at the funeral home
Funeral will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 at 11am at Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky with Kevin Jett officiating
Burial will follow at the Bays Cemetery, Left Fork Abbott, Prestonsburg, KY
