ROBERT M. BROOM, 80, of Searcy, Ark., formerly of Southaven, retired from Continental Trailways, died Monday at White County Medical Center in Searcy. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake, where he was a former member, with burial in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven. Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven has charge. He was a member of West Race Baptist Church in Searcy and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran. Mr. Broom, the husband of Thelma Lee Broom for 60 years, also leaves a daughter, Rhonda Case of Searcy; a son, Steven M. Broom of Lees Summit, Mo.; two brothers, Ben Broom of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Virgil Broom of Atlanta, four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
