Southaven, Mississippi - THELMA LEE BROOM, 88, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, AR. Mrs. Broom retired from Eli and Walker and was a former member of Calvary Baptist Church in Horn Lake, MS. She is survived by one son, Steven M. Broom (Shirley) of Fort Worth, TX; one daughter, Rhonda Case (Larry) of Fayetteville; one brother, Henry Levi Lee, Jr. of Petal, MS; two sisters, Janice Haddox of Colombia, MS and Libby Murray of McComb, MS; four grandchildren, Robert C. Broom, Stevenie Pry (Ron), Averi Duffield (David), and Charla Roberts (Mike); and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Robert M. Broom. Visitation will be Monday, July 25 from 1 p.m. until the service begins at 2 p.m. at Twin Oaks Funeral Home in Southaven, MS. Burial will follow in Twin Oaks Memorial Gardens in Southaven.
