Canadian Politician. Born in Montréal (Québec) on November 6, 1883. He was a businessman and a merchant. On September 2, 1924, he was first elected to the House of Commons as the Kiberal representative of the Saint-Antoine district in Québec. He was defeated twice, in 1925 and 1930, in Saint-Antoine but was elected again on October 14, 1935, this time in the district of Sainte-Anne. On February 15, 1940, Prime minister King appointed him to the Senate for the division of Victoria. He died in office on January 29, 1954.
