Marion (Bokey) Eugene Canaday of Hilliard passed away at his home on July 18, 2002. He was a Veteran of World War II in the U.S.Army.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Carroll Canaday and three sons, Kenny (Connie) Canaday of Hilliard, Reggie (Sharon) Canaday of Hilliard and Art Canaday of New Orleans.

He was preceded in death by one one, Danny Canaday. He is also survived by seven grandchildren: Josh Canaday, Rachel (Mitchell) Harris, Lacey (Raymond) Cassidy, Jessie Canaday (Jody Pickett), Cody Canaday, Ethan Canaday, and Bayley Canaday; two sisters Hilda Tartt of Jacksonville and Alice Oliver of Orange Park; and several nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be held at his home on Jessie Carroll Road at 6:00pm on Friday July 19, 2002.

Services will be held at River Road Baptist Church at 11:00 am on Saturday July 20, 2002. Burial will be at Mill Creek Cemetery.
