Daughter of George Washington and Alma Irene Riley Tate.
On June 4, 1939, she married William W. Kuhler in Brunswick.
She graduated from Brunswick High School. Mrs. Kuhler had worked at the Brunswick Nursing Home, in the kitchen of Keytesville Schools and provided personal in-home care. Mrs. Kuhler was Keytesville FHA Chapter Mother in 1961. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Brunswick and the Lutheran Women's Missionary League, the Chariton Grange and was a 53 year member of the Help One Another Extension Club. Mrs. Kuhler was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ivan and Roy Tate, three infant siblings, and one grandchild.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 29, 2000 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Brunswick with Pastor Glen Drewitz officiating.
Pallbearers: Denny Straub, Wayne Straub, Bob Littleton, Wayne Bondy, Steve Kuhler, and Ron Koch.
Honorary pallbearers: Elmer Leimkuehler Sr., Gail Friesz, Donald Kussmann, Kenneth Kussmann, Gerard Jansen, Ron Tate, Bill Blunk, Doug Koch, Darrell Kuhler and Bob Magruder.
