Carrie Christina Everhart, the daughter of Robert and Sena (Jacobsen) Larsen, was born June 28, 1908, in Royal, Iowa. Her childhood years were spent in that community, and it was there she received her early education.

Carrie was married to James Anderson on September 29. 1925, in Estherville, Iowa. Throughout their married life, they made their home in Spencer. Carrie married Henry Everhart on February 2, 1950, in Sioux Falls,South Dakota. They made their home in Spencer, where for 14 years she owned and operated Carrie's Custodial Home. Carrie retired 7 years before she passed away. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church; and the V.F.W and American Legion Aux.

Mrs. Everhart passed away on January 6, 1982 at Northshire Residence at the age of 73 years, 6 months and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James.

Carrie is survived by her husband, Henry; one son; one daughter; one step-daughter; four grandchildren; two great grandsons; and one sister.
