She was born on May 13, 1939 in Jackson, Ohio to parents Albert Wesley and Mary (Richards) Rhea. Ardella is survived by husband of 26 years, John C. Hamler; sons, Dennis (Julie) Yoder of Galena and Wesley of Oklahoma; daughters, Cynthia Thompson and Mary Scott (John Lascola) of Columbus; step-sons, John R. Hamler of Circleville, and James A. Hamler of New Jersey; step-daughter, Deidre Hamler of Lancaster; brother, Jerry (Melanie) Rhea of Ontario; sister-in-law, Donna J. Putnam of Columbus; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Teresa Thompson. Family will receive friends Friday, February 16, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at GRAUMLICH FUNERAL HOME, 1351 S. High Street. Service Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 766 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43206. Pastor Wes Hromowyk officiating. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
