Funeral services for Annie Tom Piper Alexander, 87, of Lampasas, were held Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church of Lampasas with the Rev. Victor Dindot officiating. Burial followed in the Townsen Cemetery near Adamsville. Mrs. Alexander died Monday, in Leisure Lodge Nursing Home of Lampasas.

She was born Sept. 16, 1900, in Lampasas County. She married Charles H. Alexander, Aug. 25, 1920, in Adamsville. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the home demonstration club where she was very active.

Mrs. Alexander is survived by one daughter, Ethelyne Hewgley of Lampasas; one son, Joe Harold Alexander of Throckmorton; one sister, Minnie Hatley of Lampasas; one brother, Joe Piper of Lampasas; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her stepmother, Blanche Piper of Adamsville. Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Directors was in charge of all arrangements
