Mary Helen Dwyer, age 82 of New Richmond, formerly of Deer Park died Sunday July 10th at Deerfield's Gables in New Richmond. Mary was born on December 15, 1928 in St. Paul; the daughter of Arnold and Helen (Ryan) Solberg. She attended St. Luke's Parochial prior to graduating from Marshall High School. She was united in marriage to Jerry Boettcher in 1952 to which son Tim was born. He would precede her in death. She would later marry Bernard Dwyer in 1976.

He also preceded her in death. Mary was a gifted counselor who dedicated much of her life to fighting alcohol addiction. She enjoyed painting or drawing, crossword puzzles and an occasional trip to the casino. Some her most cherished memories are her trips to Ireland and London.

Mary is survived by her son Tim Croner of New Richmond, Granddaughter's; Lisa Croner of Saint Paul MN, Jenny (Luis) Espejel of Columbia Heights, MN & Great Grandchildren; Luis Jr, Adrian, Lily & Rylan Espejel of Columbia Heights, And Sister Norma (Carroll) Klanderman.

She is preceded in death by her Parents Arnold C. Solberg & Johanna H. Ryan, Husband Jerry Boettcher(1952-1954) & Husband Bernard Dwyer (1976-2001), Brother John Solberg, and niece Susan Ann Solberg Cendrowski.

Funeral service will be 2PM Thursday July 14th at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. Burial will be in the Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3 until 5PM at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home of Hudson. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
