Mrs. McLeary died Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was born on January 5, 1920 and raised in Oakfield, TN, the daughter of the late Gus B. and Betty DeBerry Glover. Mrs. McLeary attended Oakfield School and graduated from the old Pope High School in 1937. She was married to the late Ralph McLeary in 1950 and was a retired employee of the J.C. Penney Co. with 39 years of service. She was a member of the former Oakfield United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her step-sons, Ralph Bond McLeary and wife Patti, and Hugh Pearson McLeary; granddaughter, Michelle Matlock and husband Vincent; niece, Teresa Glover Floyd and husband Pat; cousin, Don DeBerry and wife Linda, and children, Eric and Cheri, and grandson, Joshua; great-grandchildren, Anna, John, Ben and Mark; great niece and nephew, Heather Newell and Brian Floyd; great-great niece, Zoe Newell and very special friend, Margaret Long.
