Born June 18 1895, he was the son of George and Susan (McGormley) Cole.
The deceased was a member of Hayes Memorial Methodist Church and the Independent Order of Odd Fellows.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs Fannie Keiser, East Cole Road and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and two brothers, Frank and Lewis, are deceased.
Friends may call at the Weller Wonderly Funeral Home after 7 pm Thursday. Services will be held there Saturday at 1:30pm, with the Rev David Weaver officiating. Burial will be in McGormley Cemetery.
Mr Cole had been in failing health for 12 months and was hospitalized for a time in Memorial Hospital, being transferred to the home of his niece April 25.
