Paul is survived by his parents, his loving wife of 25 years, Janet Klaus Hickman, sons David Jay, Zachary Jacob, and Sean Christian Hickman; brother John Phillip Hickman and wife Becky, sister Dinah Hickman Boykin and husband Chris, nieces and nephews Mark and Jenny Guillemette, and Sarah Klaus; Alexis, Maddie and Jamie Boykin, Joshua, Rachael and Sarah Hickman; and many other close friends and family.
Paul was a lifelong Houston resident and member of Park Place Baptist Church where he was a faithful servant on the media team from a young age. Paul loved his God, his family, music and humor as any who knew him well can attest. He was a gracious, funny man who put his family above all else.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2011 from 6-8 pm at Crowder funeral home in Pearland, A small family graveside service will be held at Bold Springs family cemetery near Livingston on Thursday, July 7, 2011.
