Lyle Eugene Virden was the son of Eli Melvin and Bertha Susan Patton Virden.
He married Janice Hornsby in Lincoln, IL. April 25,1952. She survives, also surviving
are his daughter Julia Kathleen; his mother and stepfather Mr. & Mrs. Howard Wiseman
of Bellevue; three brothers and two sisters, Eli Virden and Carmen Rogers of Peoria,
Albert Virden, LeRoy Virden/Wiseman, and Mrs. Nellie Crew of Bellevue; a half-sister Mabel Wiseman all of Bellevue; and grandmother Julia Virden of Ramsey. His father and
a half-sister preceded him in death.
Cause of death was suicide at the age of 24.
