Martha S. Bunney, Shelton, Wash.

Former Vancouver resident Martha Stimpson Bunney, 88, died in Shelton Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Willard Bud, at home; one son, Dick Stimpson of Union, Wash.; three stepsons, Willard Bunney Jr. of Rochester, N.Y., Ron Bunney of Sacramento, Calif., and Steve Bunney of Portland; two sisters, Mollie Shearer of Vancouver and Pauline Thiel of Ritzville, Wash.; eight grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Bunney, born April 6, 1909, in Quincy, Wash., moved to Shelton four months ago from Vancouver where she lived for 32 years.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Vancouver and enjoyed traveling, crocheting and sewing.

Her first husband, Eugene Stimpson, died in 1970, and a son, Jack Stimpson, also preceded her in death.

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, followed by burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
