Nov. 8, 1928 - July 13, 2004

Paul E. "Duke" Duncan, 75, 1916 S. Lafountain St., died 1:47 p.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at Howard Regional Health System. He was born Nov. 8, 1928, in Terre Haute. On Dec. 26, 1981, in Kokomo, he married Norma (Patmore, Kwon) Duncan.

He served in the U.S. Army and Air Force and attended the Barber School in Indianapolis. He was a retired barber and had worked at A-1 Barber Shop on North Washington Street for 25 years.

He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the American Legion. He attended New Path Ways Church.

Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Larry and Bonnie Patmore, Gary Patmore, all of Kokomo; one brother, Robert Duncan, Michigan; seven grandchildren, Larry Lee Patmore Jr., Angie Leyda, Jay Karp, Aimee Kiper, Andy Patmore, Kristy Harlan and Greg Patmore. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Stout & Son Funeral Home, 200 E. Main St., Russiaville, with the Rev. Dan White officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery with military rites by the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Team. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the New Path Ways Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
