William F. "Bill" Biedebach of Rancho Mirage and formerly of Bermuda Dunes, CA, passed away quietly after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Shirley, 4 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. His son preceded him in passing. He was born in 1922 in Pasadena, CA and grew up there, spending his summers in Soquel, CA where his lifelong love of animals was nurtured. He entered the Army Air Force during WWII but became seriously ill during training and received a medical discharge with disability. He went on to graduate USC in chemical engineering. He had many interests, and worked for Beckman as a chemist, designed and built the first autopia cars for Disneyland. He enjoyed racing midget cars as well. He also worked in the salt business, provided coin laundry equipment for apartments, and finally retired as a gentleman rancher. During this time he traveled extensively with his wife. He was an avid and excellent dancer. He also enjoyed boating, was an instrument rated pilot, and scuba diver. He was very active in the LA Rotary, and the Springville Lions.
