ADAMS, DOROTHY JANE, 70 of Clermont passed away March 6, 2003. Born in Decatur, Illinois. Ms. Adams began her career with Illinois Bell Telephone Co. in Decatur in 1951. She transferred to Orlando in 1967, where she was employed by Southern Bell Telephone Co. until her retirement in 1991. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. Preceded in death by her mother, Doris Coffey Adams and father, Edgar Adams. Survivors: step-sister, Mrs, Tom (Shirley) Cross of Decatur; nephew, Mike Cross of Schomberg, IL; several cousins, including Frank Godsey, all from the Decatur area. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, March 9th from 3-4PM. Services to follow at 4PM. Interment will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery in Decatur, IL.
