James B. Bristol, a former resident of Davis, died June 26 in Oklahoma City. Services were held June 28 with burial in Resthaven Cemetery.
Bristol, 86, was a retired U.S. Post Office employee. He was born Sept. 15, 1900 in Temple, TX. He was a member of First Christian Church in Davis.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Josephine. Survivors include three sons, two brothers, seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
