Funeral services were held at the Guthrie Funeral home at 2:30 o`clock Sunday afternoon for Mrs. Leila Ann Dnnnuck, who passed away at the home of her son, Everett Dunnuck, Friday evening in Kansas City. Rev. S. A. Munneke preached the funeral sermon and three solos were sung by: Mrs. B. C. Thomas. The body was laid to rest in the Marysville cemetery.
Leila Ann Stanley was born near Des Moines, Iowa, November 26, 1858. She came to Kansas when about 16 years old and settled in Washington county. On December 19, 1883 she was united in marriage to Edward S. Dunnuck who passed away October 26, 1907. Five children were born to them; Mrs Geo. M. Pease, Cleveland, Ohio; Geo. Stanley Dunnuck, who died September 9, 1906; Mrs. R. H. Payne, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. E. W. Dexter, Waterville, Kansas; and Everett Dunnuck of Kansas City. Mo.
She also leaves to mourn her passing two stepsons, H. A. Dunnuck, Payette, Idaho, and W. A. Dunnuck, Nampa, Idaho; seven grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. She spent 25 years of her life in Marysville. The last 5 years she has resided with her son Everett in Kansas City, where she passed away June 6.
She was kind and loving mother. Her greatest joy came from entertaining her friends in her own home and in loving ministrations to those dear to her. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
