PLAISANCE - A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2011, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Plaisance, LA., for Mr. Hayes Joseph Carmouche, Jr., 58, God called him home, Thursday, June 23, 2011 at his residence, in Plaisance, LA.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Plaisance, LA. Rev. Jude Mary Obiechina, S.V.D. will officiate at the Mass of Christian burial.
Mr. Carmouche is survived by his parents, Hayes & Evelyn Carmouche, Sr. of Plaisance, LA.; a former wife, Diana Rodriguez of Houston, TX.; a son, Anthony La Var Carmouche of Houston, TX.; a daughter, Shantia Sharelle Carmouche (Patrick) of Houston, TX.; 4 grandchildren, SaViahn Carmouche, Londyn Carmouche, Darrell Moore and Asia Carmouche all of Houston, TX.; 8 brothers, Joseph Harold Carmouche, Sr. (Cheryl), Paul Lionel Carmouche, Sr. (Rhode), John Gary Carmouche, Sr. (Tracy) all of Opelousas, LA., Joseph Franklin Carmouche (Shirley), Gregory Carmouche, Sr., John Stanley Carmouche, Sr. (Alundra) all of Houston, TX., John Larry Carmouche, Sr. (Glinda), Darral Wayne Carmouche, Sr. (Alice) both of Plaisance, LA.; 5 sisters, Willie Waver Eaglin (Gabriel) of Opelousas, LA., Carol Ann Gardiner (Lawrence), Jeanne Kimberly Carmouche both of Houston, TX., Roslyn Jackson (Clyde) of Beaumont, TX. and Roxanne EvBuomwan (Benjamin, Sr.) of Brooklyn, NY.
Mr. Carmouche was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Theophile & Bertha Sampy Carmouche; maternal grandparents, Frank & Ida Johnson Chavis and a son, Joseph Jerome Carmouche.
