McManimie, Robert John 90, of St. Charles, MO, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Garden View Care Center of O Fallon. On May 6, 1942, Robert married Opal Marie Payton. To this union five children were born: Arlayne (Charles) West of Grimes, IA; Diana Dalton of St. Charles, MO; Marjorie (James) Allen of St. Charles, MO; Robert (Joanne) of Woodson Terrace, MO; and Randall (JoAnn) of St. Peters, MO. He was also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. Services: Visitation with family members will be held at the Dardenne Rock Church, on Wednesday, June 29, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. A memorial service will be held immediately after in the same location followed by a brief graveside ceremony in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions on behalf of Robert should be made to the Five Acres Animal Shelter of St. Charles, 1099 Pralle Lane, 63303. Flowers should be sent to Dardenne Presbyterian Church, 7400 Highway N, O Fallon, MO 63368-7013.
