Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with a wake service at 4 p.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
Jeffrey was born Sept. 4, 1964, in Moline, the son of Thomas and Cheryl Eihl Van De Walle.
He previously worked as a landscaper for various landscaping companies in the Quad-Cities area.
He is survived by daughters, Elizabeth and Colleen Van De Walle, both of Chicago; son, Thomas Van De Walle, Chicago; mother, Cheryl DePaepe and her husband, Dale, Rock Island; father, Thomas Van De Walle and his wife, Cheryl, St. Louis, Mo.; maternal grandmother, Elsa Eihl, Rock Island. He was preceded by maternal grandfather, Richard Eihl; and paternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Van De Walle.
