Amber Hurst 22, of Greenfield, passed away August 25, 2008. She was born November 27, 1985 to Tony and Sherry Farmer Hurst of Indianapolis, IN.
Amber was a 2004 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and had graduated from Honors Beauty College. In high school she was active in gymnastics and softball. Amber was a proud member of the State Champion Cheerleading Squad for Mount Vernon High School. Amber had recently become employed with Houlihan's Restaurant located in Noblesville. She enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Cailyn and her family and friends were her number one priority.
Visitation will be August 27, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St., with funeral services Thursday, August 28, at 2:00 p.m. Amber is survived by her daughter, Cailyn; loving parents, Tony and Sherry Hurst; sisters, Mandy and Ashley Hurst; niece, Addison Hurst; grandparents, Fred and Nancy Farmer; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arnold and Dorothy Hurst. Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Amber to the Cailyn Williams Scholarship Fund, at any Charter One Bank.
