Luray Mae Abbey, 88, of Denton died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005, at Good Samaritan Village in Denton.
She was born Dec. 31, 1916, in Vashti to T.C. and Nettie Spencer Hudson. In April 1968, she married Milton "Mick" Abbey in Denton. He died in 1994.
She was an LVN at Denton Osteopathic Hospital before her retirement.
She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 2, at the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Sara Wheat of Lake Dallas; one sister, Ethel Hudson-White of Bowie; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
