Henry Calvin Meadows, 84, of Irvington went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 15, 2009. He was the widower of Carolyn Waters Meadows.
Surviving are three nieces, Mary Chamberlain and Shirley C. Tyler and her husband, Eugene all of Richmond, Va. and Linda C. Katzer and her husband, Lester of Chester, Va.; two nephews, David and Gary Chamberlain both of Richmond, Va.; a number of great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by a very special friend, Catherine Thomas.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17 at the Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock, Va. with Rev. Dr. Davis Smith officiating. Entombment will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 18 at Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va.
