Suffers Stroke of Apoplexy; Dies at her Home Yesterday - Mrs. Klaas R Haan, aged 70 years, died at nine o'clock this morning at her home, 97 Apple street, after a very brief illness. She was sticken with apoplexy yesterday afternoon, while visiting her sister, Mrs. Frank Vandyke, 245 Apple street, and was removed to her home, where death occurred this morning. She was born in the Netherlands and came here in 1866. Mr. Haan died June 11, 1919. She was a member of the Third Christian Reformed Church. Mrs. Haan is survived by eleven children; Mrs. Hiram Workman of Muskegon, Mrs. H Klassen of Holland, Mrs. Stephen H Clink and Mrs. Benjamin J Fles of Muskegon, Steena, Jennie, Oddie, Kate, Reep, Charles And Clyde Haan, all at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Frank VanDyke and Mrs. Minard Vandermade of Muskegon. The funeral will be held privately, two o'clock Saturday afternoon from the family residence, 97 Apple street. Rev J.L. VanTieren will be in charge of the services.
