She was born September 27, 1897, at Broad Top, a daughter of Henry and Mary (Wilkins) Lealette. She was married to Herbert Lane on November 24, 1914. Her husband preceded her in death August 22, 1955.
Surviving is one daughter, Mrs. Clinton (Glendean) McGhee of Wood. There are three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One daughter and one son preceded her in death.
Two sisters and two brothers survive: Mrs. Robert (Martha) Clark, Broad Top; Mrs. Ben (Gladys) Conner, Baltimore, Md.; Duane Leavelle, Saxton and Ted Leavelle, Buffalo, N.Y. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
The deceased was of the Protestant faith. She was a member of the Huntingdon County Gold Star Mothers.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, at 2 p.m. from the Church of the Nazarene at Broad Top. The Rev. Lester Welshans will officiate and interment will be made in the Broad Top I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
Friends are being received at the Masood funeral chapel, Saxton until 9 a.m. on Tuesday, and then at the church from 10 a.m. until the hour for the services.
