Miss Pearl McNutt passed away suddenly here during the holidays after an illness of only a few hours. Funeral services were held December 26 at Wallis Funeral Home with burial in the family plot in Kenney, Texas. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.
She was a retired school teacher coming here from Caldwell, Texas. She had lived here for several years with a sister, Miss Mamie McNutt.
She is survived by four sisters Miss Mamie here, Mrs. R. A. Irvin of Wallis, Mrs. M. Smith of Caldwell and Mrs. Walton Williams of Katy. Two brothers, J. L. McNutt of Bellville and Joe McNutt of Houston, and a number of nephews and neices including Guy L. "Mac" and James N. "Snakey" McNutt, both of Rosenberg.
