Junior Wesley Adams, age 62, of Bardwell, passed away at 7:50 A.M. Wednesday June 15, 2011 at his residence. Junior was of the Baptist faith, and was a US Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War where he was injured and received the Purple Heart in 1968. Survivors include his wife, Linda Bass Adams of Bardwell, one daughter, Donna Bishop of Bardwell, one son, Wesley Adams of Barlow, three sisters and one brother, six grandchildren, one great grandchild. He was preceded by his father Elmer Adams and mother Margie Harper Adams, one son Lonnie Adams, and one brother. Graveside services will be held 11:30 Monday, June 20, 2011 at Mounds City National Cemetery in Mounds IL with the Rev. Mark Burnett officiating. Friends may call at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Bardwell after 10 a.m. Monday .
