Mary Francis Morris was the daughter of Elizabeth Ann Sullivan and Jesse M Morris. She was sister of David Lee Morris, William W Morris and Franklin Jackson Morris and many half brothers and sisters.

Last rites for Mrs Ed Collins, 74 were held from the Olney Church of Christ with Lenard Waggoner minister, officiating. Mrs Collins had lived in Young County since 1925.
As a child, she was brought to Texas by her parents in a covered wagon. The family settled in Wise County.
Mary Elizabeth Morris married Mr Collins, a cotton buyer and merchant in Alvord. Mr and Mrs Collins came to Young County and lived in Newcastle and Graham before moving to Olney in 1935. Her husband preceded her in death.
Survivors: six sons, Guy Collins of Haskell, Herschel Collins of Fort Worth, James Collins of Ivan, Bill Collins of Longview, Byron and Percy Collins of Graham; two daughters, Mrs Eulalia McKinney of Newcastle, Mrs D W Stewart of Midland; brother, Jack Morris of Alvord, 10 grandchildren seven great-grandchildren.
