Funeral services for Louis F. Parmley, who died at Yale March 18, 1937, were held at that place Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial followed in the Lawson cemetery, with Masonic services held at the grave.
The deceased was born at Albany, Ky., February 5, 1858. He was married to Piera T. Braswell in 1876. To this union were born six children, one of whom died in infancy. He came to Oklahoma in 1889 and located on a claim near Ingalls.
For a number of years he was in the hardware business in Ingalls. In 1904 the family moved to Yale, where Parmley entered the general merchandise business. Later he sold out to O.C. Dale, and entered the oil business.
Survivors are Mrs. George Dollinger, Stillwater; Mrs. C.E. Long, Stroud; Mrs. F.S. Cleveland, Yale; Mrs. J.L. Bagwell, Los Angeles, cal., and C.B. Parmley, Yale. He also is survived by 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
