Battle of Corinth.
Battles about Dallas, New Hope Church and Allatoona Hills.
Battle of Atlanta.
Battle of Jonesboro.
Siege of Savannah.
Surrender of Johnston and his army.

Mustered out July 12, 1865, and discharged at Davenport, Iowa, July 20, 1865.

Regiment loss: 12 Officers and 108 Enlisted men killed and/or mortally wounded. 4 Officers and 159 Enlisted men to disease. Total 283.

In Fresno at his home, 2141 Eunice, January 13th, 1933. Henry D. Gross; native of Illinois; aged 91 years. Survived by his beloved wife and son, W. Owen Gross of Fresno.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 16th at Clements and Riker Funeral Home. Tulare and T Streets, at 2 P.M. Rev. J. L. Sawyer officiating. Fresno I.O.O.F. Lodge 135 officiating at graveside.

Internment in I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
