Bernice V. Daley, eternally 39, of Unionville, widow of Cornelius J. Daley, passed away peacefully Thursday (June 9, 2011).

Born in Unionville, December 29th, 1920, daughter of the late John and Anna Dziedzic, she resided in Forestville and Unionville.

Prior to retiring, Bernice was a Machinist at Dabkowski Industry in Forestville and also at M.H. Rhodes Company in Avon.

She was a lifelong communicant at the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea in Unionville.

Bernice is survived by her two sisters, Mary Kaczmarczyk of Bristol and Georgina Moran of West Hartford, her nieces and nephews, Gale Horton of Tolland, Elizabeth Young of Burlington, Patricia Stewart of Glastonbury, David Kaczmarczyk of Bristol, David Dziedzic of Terryville, Wayne Dziedzic of Florida, John Dziedzic Jr., of Kansas, her nephew's widow, Carol Dziedzic of Collinsville, and many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two brothers, John and Edward Dziedzic, her two sisters, Margaret Dziedzic, Estelle Jessome and her nephew, Donald Dziedzic.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Tuesday (June 14) from 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Funeral procession from The Ahern Funeral Home will be at 12 p.m. followed by the Funeral Liturgy in the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Unionville at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Avon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of St. Mary Star of the Sea, Bidwell Square, Unionville, CT 06085.
