James Carroll

James Cecil Carroll, 66, of Jacksonville, died May 28 at Baptist Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a Baptist and retired from the City of Jacksonville.

Survivors include his wife, Emily Carroll of Jacksonville; daughters, Wanda Harrell of Hilliard and Linda Creel of Jacksonville; a sister, Rosa Lee Hickox of Jacksonville; brothers, Leon Carroll of Hilliard and Wilson Carroll of Hilliard; grandchildren and a great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. in Callahan First Assembly of God with Reverend Herb Phinazee and Pastor Roy Bining, Jr. presiding.

Interment followed in Mill Creek Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Chuck Carroll, David Carroll, Alan Carroll, Ronald Carroll, Jerry Shaw and Clinton Carroll.

Arrangements were by Callahan Funeral Home.
